Last night whilst i was cruising downtown with my usually-stoned friends, i came across a JPJ roadblock. The roadblock stretches along the traffic light from the Miri Sports Complex to the Miri Indoor Stadium. My friend, a regular traffic offender hastily drove his vehicle to the side and decided to play spectator for a while.
Consider me lucky as i did not drive my 75% tinted, 2.5" direct stainless steel piping ride around town at that very moment else i'll be sending my car for some rigurous check at Desa Senadin. The roadblocks are held ocassionally to ensure that drivers abide by the rules & regulations set forth by JPJ. Yes, before you ask, JPJ stands for Jalan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia
Their ( JPJ ) modus operandi differs slightly from the ones performed by our local men-in-white attires ( Traffic Policemen - PDRM ). The said barricade placed in the middle or on a suggested lane to ensure that every car is thoroughly check of any tiny , little wrongdoings. I was told by one of the JPJ officers that last night roadblock was OPS TINTED or some sh*t. They were supposed to catch any vehicles which are heavily tinted and which does not have a legal roadtax etc.
Apologize for the fuzzy image as i did not want to attract the officers attention by flashing my digital cams at them. The two notorious deep blue coloured vehicle which serves as every traffic offenders nightmare ( including me, but since i had some "contacts" i aint quite scared of them anymore ). :P
I cheekily asked Benjamin to walked all the way to the vehicles and pose it exclusively for my blog. Our laughters and jokes were noticed by the officers which point their fingers at us supposingly asking us not to disturb them. We left for home right after Patrick pee-ed his pants.
