Roasted Chicken @ WZT

I went through my picture album and guess what i found out? Few pictures of WZT Cafe which i have yet to introduce. Well, i guess that WZT cafe needs no introduction as most of us local folks have already got to know it's whereabouts and even who owns the cafe.

Just in case the foreigners or other visitors from abroad do not know it's location, it's situated right opposite TOWN Motors in the heart of Miri City.

WZT Cafe opts for red colour as it's theme. Everything you see as you arrived at it's premises are red. Luckily i have nothing against red colour as it also represents the colour of the football team i support. Man U! Liverpool you said? Who? . Anyways, even the signboard is also red in colour.

This is the interior of the cafe. It is normally packed with people in the morning. I hardly patronised WZT at such a time as it's quite hard to look for a decent parking space.

I'll normally dine at the back of WZT Cafe because it is way spacious than the seating arrangements at the front. There's always a time when you really need that extra privacy when you're dining out with someone ( especially a girl when you already have a gf ), so the back of WZT cafe would be appropriate.

Fyi, WZT Cafe is owned by one of my friend. What's her name again? Tyger Wee.

I got myself one of their famous roasted chicken rice.

It's delightful and appetizing. Friends who are currently studying overseas, just in case you are viewing this, you know you are missing out a lot on this. I need not say more.

The girl with the white dress

How does it feel to see yourselve floating up the ceiling ,looking down from above and seeing your actual self still sleeping soundly?

I had an experience which happened some time ago. As i could vaguely recall, it was around 2.00PM.

I saw myself floating around whilst looking at myself. Now, it didnt surprise me until i notice something very unusual.

There was a girl with long hair down to the waist standing in front of my bed.

I couldn't see her face as i was basically still floating.

All that i saw was her head which was facing down looking at me while my actual self was lying on the bed.

She stood there for sometime when i suddenly woke up.

It felt real..... very real.

I don't know whether i should tell anyone.

Oh wait..i just did.

Voices

My family members are in KL at the moment. They are leaving me alone with 2 dogs in the house. Last night, i slept at 1.oo AM, i woke up around 3.30Am. I heard voices whispering " Wake up, wake up..... "

I woke up. Trying to figure out where the voices came from. It couldn't be the dogs because dogs can't talk. They bark.

What could it be? Hmmm... anyway, parents would be out for a week. Lonely girls please do take note.

A present for someone - The Little Girl

I was strolling around Boulevard the other day whilst thinking about recent events that had been disturbing me. The little girl had been following me, popping out from nowhere at times to my annoyance. I had been figuring ways to get her out off my sight but it seems none is working. Sensing there was no more ways to make things better, i opted for the last option which is to dedicated this little picture ( coloured , yes ) by myself to that little girl.

I chosed a picture of a dinosaur smiling gay-ly as it kinda reminds me of few of my friends back in mid school hugging around shouting "let's have group shower " after football but well, that's not that what i would like to say today. So, the whole idea is to peel off the sticker and to spread colourful powdery substances onto the piece of card which i was holding. Simple as that, and if any of you find it hard to follow, i have nothing to say.

I had fun mixing with the colour and trying to be creative with the ...... colours. The reason i chosed purple is because ( yes, u guess it right ) , i like Barney alot and i ain't shy to admit it. I hope the little girl likes this and will stop bugging me from now on.

The little girl again

I parked my car beside the road leading to this Sri Mawar school just now to answer a call . While talking on the phone with my friend, the little girl appeared from behind my car. I was shocked , i hang up and drove my car away.

The little girl

Today i saw a little girl standing beside the road. I stopped my car and wind down my window. We looked at each other for sometime and she blushed. I drove away after that.

Craving for Magnolia Cravio

Magnolia has come up with a new confection dubbed the Magnolia Cravio. It comes with the tagline that reads "goodie" . Whatever happened to proper grammar and spellings? I am feeling that the 8 years studying at a respectable english institute aint giving me any benefits considering the booming of new words as of late.

Magnolia Cravio ( concentrate on the word cravio ) would seem to be short term for craving. As i've look through Oxford Dictionary: Craving = Crave which means feeling an intense longing for a certain thing. So, this is all just marketing strats. Coming out with a catchy tagline or product name. Cravio , thats new and it's deep.

Anyway, Magnolia Cravio opens up to reveal a thick layer of chocolate coated with peanuts on the ice cream. It feels so cold as i grasp for it . See the irony in it? How would someone in a positive mind crave for something so cold?

By the way, it's surprisingly good. Sweet and the generous amount of chocolate means that it would be a hit among the kids in school.

Lunch with Sheila & Vernon @ Double Star

Few days ago i had lunch with Sheila from www.sheilatyz.blogspot.com . She called up for lunch and i had no choice to give in. LOL.

We decided to go to Double Star to have our tummy filled since it's air conditioned and the food there is delightful.

Worry not my female readers. Vernon was there too to accompany me. I know you ladies were asking whether Sheila's my *ehem* or not but well, just for your info, she's in love with a guy called Lewis.

* btw, if you're reading this Lewis, you gotta thank me. She had been saying good stuff bout you.

As expected, i got myself a bowl of prawn omelette rice and Vernon got himself a pork omelette rice. Both taste great and i couldn't complain more. All in all it cost us RM22.00

I ordered Green Tea and somehow was given Chinese Tea. I can bring this to the relevant authorities but it's just tea by the way. Had a great time talking to my buddy Sheila , you know just to get updates on stuff and so on.

Fried Kueh Tiaw @ Open Air Market

Being the ever understanding son that i am, i brought my family out to Miri's Open Air Market last weekend. It's been a while since i last had any meal there. The latest was during last year's chinese new year with a certain girl called..... Wendy. ( Shh.. Don't tell ).

I am sure that many Mirians know this place. It's home to one of the tastiest Fried Kueh Tiaw stall in town. Coincidentally, it's my friend's stall - Stall 21. Just in case he reads my blog, i am gonna do this in advance.

" Mr Pui, what's up? Long time no see. So, i just wrote something about your stall but yet on your mum's delicious fried kueh tiaws cause by the time i went there, it's finished. My bro wanted to have your fried kueh tiaw because he misses it and we were utterly disappointed with you for closing down before lunch. Just so you know, i am staying in the Airport Road area, so coming down would require time, money and fuel. You're forgiven this time but i hope you will make it up for us next time. I will bring more friends and you will need to treat us. Thanks. Sincerely , Adamk. "

I didnt get to try the rich in MSG dish so i opted for Stall 22's fried kueh tiaw instead. Oh by the way, i do also know the guy from stall 22 as he goes to hash as well.

Open Air Market's kueh tiaw is the SSSSSShhhhiiiiiitttt!!!!! You aren't eating a true kueh tiaw if it's not from the open air market.

Palatable would be an understatement. It's good. Lol . On another note, i understand that not many SINGLE PRETTY girls would love dining at open air market as they will always complain that it's hot, filthy and overly crowded ( which is the truth) but then if those girls ( Single & Pretty ) are looking for hot studs, it's the best place because i will be there.

Seafood at New Tanjung Seafood Restaurant

New Tanjung Seafood Restaurant. I did wrote an article about this place few months back and as you all know, it's where i normally hang out at night.

This time around i was with few of my friends. The reason why i always bring them there is because i know most of the staffs working there and yes, i communicate well with girls .. be it an old lady or a young nubile kawaii chick but that isn't the point. I just love going to places near to the beach.

This is Li Hui, an indon-chinese mixed/crossbreed or whatever you wanna call her. She just started working there and she always smiles at me.

This my friend, is what you call a plate of fried spicy soya sauce baby clams . I just love seafood. It's fresh and it's usually sell out after 10.00PM. That's how good it is.

An upclose pic of the baby clams for just RM10.00 per plate.

Not only that, we got ourselve fried crabs. Somehow i forgot about how the flavour tasted like.

Another upclose pic of the crab which ended up in our stomach.

Poor Yvonne can't eat crab. Thus the reaction on her face. The Pekchek Look.

very very "PEKCHEK"...

Warung Pisang Goreng Rokiah

I drove past this little stall beside the road leading to Dato middle school after lunch today. This little stall here happens to be very very famous for their banana fritters. Well, for those who are really smart, i know you are wondering why i am there after i just had lunch. My colleague, Vernon decided to have a glimpse of the young school girls there. End of story.

I on the other hand went down and got myself a bag of their well-known fritters. Oh before i proceed, it's actually called Warung Pisang Goreng Rokiah. Rokiah's banana fritter stall does offer a variety of deep fried fish balls and other appetizers as well.

Deep fried till it has a golden brown colour to it, it's ready to be consumed anytime of the day. It's normally a hit during tea time as customers come in fast to have a go at Rokiah's bananas. ( not that rokiah has any, pardon me )

Rokiah's banana fritters are fresh and crispy. It's not too oily and in other words, it's good. Don't forget me when anyone of you goes down and try it out.

Hush Puppy Toy Dog

The day i was in Labuan, i spotted a very cute creature. It reminded me of the Hush Puppies character . I thought of purchasing it down since it got to be the biggest and heaviest soft toy one can find in Labuan and i could have easily impressed a few female readers here with it but the salesperson resisted the temptation of selling this cute adorable thing to us for RM2 K!!! Yes, RM2000!

It seriously is big and heavy. The size of it's paws are twice the size of my arms . I ain't exaggerating. It's balls could have easily knock Mr Miri unconscious down right there.

Since we didn't succeed in buying it down , we have our pictures taken. Ah Lun with his saucy smile. He reckon that this present would melt any girls heart, i don't know if its true but i might try.

..and me in my less natural smile. Btw, i did gave my number down to the salesgirl should she change her mind and sell it off to one of my friends.

Bak Kut Teh @ Kedai Jin Aik Labuan

Remember Kedai Jin Aik. It's supposed to be the place where the best Bak Kut Teh in town is served. If not the best, one of the best then. I brought my friends there last week as we all went for some...soul searching. You know what i mean fellas.

I got hooked onto their delicious bak kut teh ever since another guy introduce me this place whenever i come to Labuan.

The seating arrangements are placed outside it's shop as Kedai Jin Aik is actually a mini market.

I didn't took any pictures of my actual friends dining that night but i think an outdated pic of my colleagues will do.

So, here goes the famous Bak Kut Teh that i had that night. Bak Kut Teh is actually a chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia & it's neighbouring countries. It's name literally translate as "PORK BONE TEA" and it consist of meaty porik ribs in a complex broth of herbs and spices boiled together with pork bones for hours.

Bak Kut Teh is usually eaten with rice and often served with fried dough ( You Tiao in chinese ) . Addtional ingredients include varieties of mushrooms, lettuces and dried tofus.

A Bak Kut Teh meal would not be complete without it's preferred condiments.

Which is the chilli padi and minced garlic. Everytime i dine in at any eating establishments which serves Bak Kut Teh, i would definitely request for more minced garlics.

It's one of the best Bak Kut Teh that i ever tasted and the flavour of the broth is very strong. I give it a 9 . Jin Aik's bak kut teh is so fulfilling that i actually ordered another 3 bowls of rice. Oh and another thing, Bak Kut Teh actually serves as a tonic to boost our health. I wonder how a pork-laden dish could offer so much in such small quantities. LOL

The side dish that i had. I am salivating the moment i am typing this down.

This is their famous chicken feet served in hot steaming clay pot. The chicken feet is so juicy that i am craving for it to an extent that girls with sexy legs would not even turn me on at the moment.

The happy face of patrons at Kedai Jin Aik's Bak Kut Teh Stall. If you all do have the chance to drop by Labuan some time, be sure to look for this Bak Kut Teh stall. It's a hit, trust me.
