Seafood at New Tanjung Seafood Restaurant

New Tanjung Seafood Restaurant. I did wrote an article about this place few months back and as you all know, it's where i normally hang out at night.

This time around i was with few of my friends. The reason why i always bring them there is because i know most of the staffs working there and yes, i communicate well with girls .. be it an old lady or a young nubile kawaii chick but that isn't the point. I just love going to places near to the beach.

This is Li Hui, an indon-chinese mixed/crossbreed or whatever you wanna call her. She just started working there and she always smiles at me.

This my friend, is what you call a plate of fried spicy soya sauce baby clams . I just love seafood. It's fresh and it's usually sell out after 10.00PM. That's how good it is.

An upclose pic of the baby clams for just RM10.00 per plate.

Not only that, we got ourselve fried crabs. Somehow i forgot about how the flavour tasted like.

Another upclose pic of the crab which ended up in our stomach.

Poor Yvonne can't eat crab. Thus the reaction on her face. The Pekchek Look.

very very "PEKCHEK"...

Warung Pisang Goreng Rokiah

I drove past this little stall beside the road leading to Dato middle school after lunch today. This little stall here happens to be very very famous for their banana fritters. Well, for those who are really smart, i know you are wondering why i am there after i just had lunch. My colleague, Vernon decided to have a glimpse of the young school girls there. End of story.

I on the other hand went down and got myself a bag of their well-known fritters. Oh before i proceed, it's actually called Warung Pisang Goreng Rokiah. Rokiah's banana fritter stall does offer a variety of deep fried fish balls and other appetizers as well.

Deep fried till it has a golden brown colour to it, it's ready to be consumed anytime of the day. It's normally a hit during tea time as customers come in fast to have a go at Rokiah's bananas. ( not that rokiah has any, pardon me )

Rokiah's banana fritters are fresh and crispy. It's not too oily and in other words, it's good. Don't forget me when anyone of you goes down and try it out.

Hush Puppy Toy Dog

The day i was in Labuan, i spotted a very cute creature. It reminded me of the Hush Puppies character . I thought of purchasing it down since it got to be the biggest and heaviest soft toy one can find in Labuan and i could have easily impressed a few female readers here with it but the salesperson resisted the temptation of selling this cute adorable thing to us for RM2 K!!! Yes, RM2000!

It seriously is big and heavy. The size of it's paws are twice the size of my arms . I ain't exaggerating. It's balls could have easily knock Mr Miri unconscious down right there.

Since we didn't succeed in buying it down , we have our pictures taken. Ah Lun with his saucy smile. He reckon that this present would melt any girls heart, i don't know if its true but i might try.

..and me in my less natural smile. Btw, i did gave my number down to the salesgirl should she change her mind and sell it off to one of my friends.

Bak Kut Teh @ Kedai Jin Aik Labuan

Remember Kedai Jin Aik. It's supposed to be the place where the best Bak Kut Teh in town is served. If not the best, one of the best then. I brought my friends there last week as we all went for some...soul searching. You know what i mean fellas.

I got hooked onto their delicious bak kut teh ever since another guy introduce me this place whenever i come to Labuan.

The seating arrangements are placed outside it's shop as Kedai Jin Aik is actually a mini market.

I didn't took any pictures of my actual friends dining that night but i think an outdated pic of my colleagues will do.

So, here goes the famous Bak Kut Teh that i had that night. Bak Kut Teh is actually a chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia & it's neighbouring countries. It's name literally translate as "PORK BONE TEA" and it consist of meaty porik ribs in a complex broth of herbs and spices boiled together with pork bones for hours.

Bak Kut Teh is usually eaten with rice and often served with fried dough ( You Tiao in chinese ) . Addtional ingredients include varieties of mushrooms, lettuces and dried tofus.

A Bak Kut Teh meal would not be complete without it's preferred condiments.

Which is the chilli padi and minced garlic. Everytime i dine in at any eating establishments which serves Bak Kut Teh, i would definitely request for more minced garlics.

It's one of the best Bak Kut Teh that i ever tasted and the flavour of the broth is very strong. I give it a 9 . Jin Aik's bak kut teh is so fulfilling that i actually ordered another 3 bowls of rice. Oh and another thing, Bak Kut Teh actually serves as a tonic to boost our health. I wonder how a pork-laden dish could offer so much in such small quantities. LOL

The side dish that i had. I am salivating the moment i am typing this down.

This is their famous chicken feet served in hot steaming clay pot. The chicken feet is so juicy that i am craving for it to an extent that girls with sexy legs would not even turn me on at the moment.

The happy face of patrons at Kedai Jin Aik's Bak Kut Teh Stall. If you all do have the chance to drop by Labuan some time, be sure to look for this Bak Kut Teh stall. It's a hit, trust me.

Anna Choo's wedding

18th March would be a day to remember for 2 love birds. It's my close friend's wedding and i was invited at the very very very last minute to be their driver, which i later termed as chaffeur. Both of them should feel honoured for i don't become any person's driver for no apparent reason.

And before i proceed with my story telling, i would like to introduce a little bit about the two persons above. The guy is called AhThim and the girl is my close close friend, Anna Choo. Remember their faces, scandals do happen after 5 years. Anna Choo used to have a crush on me back in secondary school but those were the times. Let's not go there shall we? She would probably be reading this right after she come back from her honeymoon.

So, this is the car that i fetched the couples with that very sunday. I don't know if it's me or the car, but i have a feeling that i'm not quite used to driving a vehicle which has no tints at all , as the current car which i'm driving is probably around 150% dark and it's proven by JPJ that it's actually illegal but somehow i would like to find ways to legalized it. So, that was an out of tangent post. Shall we just continue on..

To kick start the whole camwhoring session that day, i had a pic taken with the bride and bridegroom. Just for your info, the lady standing beside me is Michelle Ting. She has beautiful sisters and somehow she never introduce them to me. But it's ok .

The bride's family. The guy on the left with a red shirt used to be my dad's colleague. I was teased the whole day by the bride that the bridegroom should have been me instead but hey, most girls tell me that when they get married.

Well, there were like around 70 shots taken but somehow i chosed the few good ones out as the other pics were filled with people i barely know that wants to have their faces up on my blog. Oh, can you guess who is the tallest in this picture? Just trying a few decent Q & A shots for ya ppl out there. It's okay if you don't wanna answer.

Man, the reason i chosed this pic is not because it is sweet or what. Well, it actually would be if both of them are kissing somewhere at the beach but not in front of their parents, sister in laws guests and of cause me.

Girls just love smiling at me and that's a fact.

Ah Thim who hails from Selangor mixing with the stud from East M. He reminds me of a certain someone by the name of Mr. Chua Yih Seng. I apologize to those who do not know who Mr Yih Seng is but this post is actually dedicated to Anna Choo, so just bear with it.

Right after the whole wedding ceremony ended, the wedding dinner continued. As it was held in Mega Hotel's ballroom, i had no trouble finding china girls the ballroom's whereabouts.

This is Eric Jong who is famous for his "Waiting for you" cameo appearance at many wedding banquets and funeral services.

My table are filled with people whom i hardly talk to or had not been in contact for ages. I wonder how did the... organisers plan their stuff and they even dared to admit it's all planned. That's Roger Pui with his current squeeze.

Many people attended and the amusing part was there weren't many hot chicks around. Coming to think about it, it's not amusing at all. Depressing should be the right word.

Ah Thim is a lucky man.

For if he does anything wrong, the few people up there would be the first to [insertpreferedcaptionhere] his loins. This is just a joke from me ok. ( Look for Castrate in www.wikipedia.com )

The night ended with groups of overage girls singing to some cheesy tune dedicated to Anna and her hubby. Many left early and i wonder why. It seems to me that their bold attempts to woo the crowd did not go well. LOL. Before i end this article , there's a vid of both Anna & Miao Ling impersonating Shunza & Ah Mei. I hope i got her name right this time.

Topping the nite off would be the photo session with a few of our close friend at their hotel suite which i would be posting up in a later post.

Ah Hua's birthday @ Passion Corner

This is the quietest hang out place i've ever come across in Miri. It's called The Passion Corner. Located behind Miri's old Standard Chartered, it has since become one of my ex classmates favourite spot.

The place looks rather relaxing and serene. Maybe it's due to the theme of the cafe as they opted for japanese-liked interiors. Tatami mats are chosen as another way of decorating the whole interior. The walls are plastered with wallpapers of trees that add to the calm but warm ambience.

It is soothing and i had the tendency to dozed off at such places. Not a good idea for a girl to date me out at places such as this.

Passion Corner actually boasts another floor which patrons could easily climb up the stairs at the back of the corner and choosed to dine in a japanese - way. Not that i am very familiar with such dining practices, it looks japanese to me though. Some might argue it's taiwanese but it's not my main concern.

The reason i was there this time around was because, my ex schoolmate is celebrating her birthday there. I am gonna tell you a secret....

i normally go to young, kawaii , innocent, act cute girl's birthday par-tays, but this time around , it's different.

This is Ah Hua. That's who she is and she just turned 24 . LOL. I shouldn't laugh because she's my friend's friend. She looks so happy in the picture. I really have to remind her not to be that happy cause she's turning 24.

This is the cake. I didnt even tasted it because i just had my dinner earlier on.

This is me doing what i do best. See me holding a plastic knife?

That's me acting as if i am holding her hands while she is cutting the cake. I wouldn't date certain girls who are older than me. I am scared they might fall for me and i don't want that to happen.

..and there's the group pic. Actually they did ordered steamboat and some other dish to eat but then i didn't took any pictures of it as i was lazy. ( From Left: Ah Hua, Hazel, Ben, Patrick, Tauke nio, Me ) I would cover Passion Corner's dishes the next time i am around i promise. I tried it once and it was different but good.

This is me being surrounded by girls as usual. The only thing was they are ALL OLDER than me. I find it awkward but at the same time, funny whenever i dine out with girls around my age. They would tend to tell you about kids, family, house, loans, relationships and all those pictures of their baby which is something i don't experience with the younger girls. I've always come across this sentence; " I am old already, it's probably my last time hanging out with u adam, so let's take a picture together ( which ended up with 20 plus pics )" .

... but they are fun.
