Blueberry Cake @ Blueberry Cake Shop

Bluberry Cake Shop is another bakery situated alongside Boulevard's highway. Anyone of you will easily spot its whereabouts whenever you drive through there. I was distracted attracted by it's purple signage ( because i like purple colours ), therefore i went to check it out.

The interiors were just like any normal bakery shops would be. Nothing spectacular though. I didnt wasted much time inside.















I of cause, got myself a cup of Blueberry Pie. It retails for Rm1.50 and one could wonder what is that square-shaped thingy on top of the pie. That's some unnessary deco right there.















Unfortunately, i accidentaly dropped the pie as i was turning my attention towards some hot chicks crossing the road old lady who needs help on crossing the road, and thus, this is how my Blueberry Pie ended up.















I really love the taste of that blueberry jam , the amount of it is just right. Another thing i really like about Blueberry Cake Shop's pie is their pies are oven fresh every single day. Waste your time not... try it now.

Black Pepper Chicken Frankie @ Roman Bakery

I always had trouble finding places to fill my stomach early every morning. There's this bakery which caught my eye few days back. It's called Roman Bakery. Roman Bakery is situated beside Pei Min Secondary School, thus "the reason" i was there. *Noticed the many La La Zai's of Pei Min Secondary school beside it.















Pardon the quality of the pic , as i took it with night shots. Anyways, for those who still do not know it's whereabouts, it's just another block off New Yakin Cafe. There's tables placed at Roman Bakery for you to relax and have a cup of ice bubble tea.















I got myself a piece of Black Pepper Chicken Frankie for RM 1.50. Can't be exact about the price though because most female cashiers give me discounts. So... you know.















Roman's Black Pepper Chicken Frankie aka Hotdog comes with a 6" chicken sausage which is slathered with black pepper gravy and few slices of veges ( lettuces i presume ) to make it more appealing.















It wasn't bad the experience. The buns are fresh and the sausage is too. I apologize for the way i took this pic though. Want Roman's Adam's Black Pepper Hotdog? ;P

Labuan Daytrip - 03 - 07 - 2006

03 - 07 - 2006 , i went to Labuan for some booze shopping. No, i went there cause my company has too much money and they spend it on me. Seriously, it was some work which needed to be done. * Pardon for the lack of updates lately as the strenous day job i had starts to take on it's toll. Hope you guys would appreciate the pics though.















Ok, on the flight there, i saw Brunei's coastline. My brother decided to tag along as it was his first time there.















I seriously thought i had took the wrong flight to Dubai. That's Brunei's own Palm Tree Island in the making. Correct me if i'm wrong.















Say hello to Labuan. Island of cheap Booze and Ciggies.















Upon arrival, i was greeted by a large signboard which says " Selamat Datang - The International Garden Island of Borneo " . What did it meant by Garden Island? Garden of Chivas - Malibu - Era ciggies got lar.















Apparently, Labuan airport is still under renovation when i was there. Luckily the airplane which i was boarding earlier on wasn't.















Where Miri has their own Seahorse, Labuan has their Swordfish to boast about.















This is a small park for couples to date outside the airport.















I noticed that most roads in Labuan are named after flowers. Surely Labuan people are flower freaks. Anyway, i was dropped downtown right at this spot!! It was my first time visiting Labuan and they just "responsibly" dropped me off right in the middle of the town? freaking..helpful.















This is the vehicle which was provided by the boss of Klasik Hotel. I was expecting some rather " stylish" car like Toyota Camry or any Mazda 323 but then... sigh. What's the use of a car when i do not even know the whereabouts.















One thing i noticed straightaway was the rims of the Proton Wira. Wow...really very stylo leh. A Proton Wira with a Honda Civic rim. How le exotica. I do not know whether to laugh or cry. I will definitely not drive this if i am in Miri.















My first stop in Labuan was A.T Dunia , i believe most of you would know what this company is doing. I went to visit Miss Sheema , Rose and a few peeps there. They were so surprised to see such a young handsome chap named Adam Kuek. They knew me through phone all this while.















I was back in town again around lunch. This was my 2nd and probably the fastest stop which i've been to. Yes, it's a hardware store and they are my suppliers. I went to visit Mdm. Lim and she too was surprised by how young handsome i am.















Hoi Peng Hardware is just a stone throws from Chep Seng Hardware, so it would be a pretty lame excuse if i didnt visit them. The boss is my trusted supplier but too bad he was out at site and i was unable to have a good look at the guy who earn my money.















I got tired walking around town and i noticed a chinese cafe just at the back of Chep Seng Hardware. I was kinda excited to see Crazy Frog's vehicle parked in front of "Kedai Kopi Mei Jia" . I never knew that Crazy Frog likes chinese food too, maybe it's time to meet the frog in person i thought.















A view of how the interiors of "Kedai Kopi Mei Jia". The local folks were kinda surprised when they saw me. Maybe it's the "DJ Honda" shirt which i wore , or perhaps my face reminds them of Daniel Radcliffe. I wasn't sure.















Although "Kedai Kopi Mei Jia" does not boasts some serious zen style collections or ambience, they do have the approval of the health minister there though. Sugarbun in Miri don't even have an "A" ah....















This is the "Hokkien Mee" i ordered . I actually asked for their Prawn Mee but to my dismay, it's sold out by that time.















A close up of it, nothing to write home about though. I give it a 3 out of 5 for taste.















Oh by the way, Labuan's Crazy Frog turns out to be a Red shirt La La Zai@ Ah Beng who quickly hopped into his van after he noticed me taking pics of his ride. He was just shy.















I did visited Syarikat Tai Seng and got myself a Litre of Absolute Vodka for only Rm 35 , and another Litre of Sheridan Coffee Milk & Liquor for Rm 65. i love duty-free items.... there are just so cheap and affordable. Have i mentioned they do sell perfumes as well?















Labuan has so many duty-free shops which sells 3 items ONLY!!! Chocolates, Booze and Cigarettes. Sometimes i just wonder how could they survive just by selling these considering the amount of shops doing the same business.















I seriously think that Labuan folks worship chocolates... you won't be seeing people promoting chocs in Miri. Chocolates are great gifts during valentines, so i won't mind helping ya all to get chocs back if u intro me your girlfriends give me some tips.















The last stop i had in Labuan was "Sportsmart". It's well known in places like Sabah and Labuan but not in Miri though. They are dealing with a wide varieties of sport products ranging from Puma soccer shoes to Adidas woman's purse. I got myself an Adidas pouch.















Before i leave Duty-Free Labuan for boring Miri, i took a pic of it's river. I had quite a time there considering the short time given. One thing i like about Labuan town is it's cheap in price but good in quality items, the roads are easily accesible and i had no problem driving around as a first timer there. I am looking forward to my next visit there, hopefully Mr Tony from Hoi Peng would be around to gimme a much more detailed tour. That's all for now.

Huat's Farewell Meet Up..whatever

It was Huat's sort-of farewell dinner exactly a week ago. I am pressured day after day after day...by my friend ( Lee Chee Wee ) to send him the pics. So here goes...















Just in case you peeps don't recognise Lee Chee Wee, this is one of his ( act cute ) pic. We were supposed to be dining at Pizza Hut but then due to some "electrical malfunction" to the oven stove, the waiter told us to dine somewhere else instead. That sucks alright..















Everyone felt tulan... No Pizza, No Fun. That's Adrian on the left who have a special relationship with his handphone. That's Ah Bait feeling all f**k up because he thought there were pizzas to eat, but ended up eating KFC's version of it.















I don't know which farker told me to posed this way. I guess it was Lee Chee Wee. I wouldn't be posing this way if i knew the end result would s*ck. Sigh~




















WAHLAOEHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Really a camwhore... *shakes head*















Er...i don't know how did this pic appeared in my cam. Anyways, this shows how "pervertish" Ah Kiat can be. FYI, that girl wasn't looking at him, she was probably looking at me. Adrian took a pic of her from an angle which did not included me.















This is the new appetizer which KFC had been promoting. It comes in an A4 sized box which emblazons the words "MELTZ - Like Nothing Else" .















Only in KFC? What could this new stuff be? Oh..btw, it's called the Toasted Tortilla.















Toasted Tortilla does really look like your ordinary mamak stall's Roti Canai. Well, it IS Roti Canai infact. Some "genius" must had been working at a mamak stall for quite some time to come up with such an idea. It's just a pieace of Roti Canai being folded together with spices, chicken cutlets, mayos etc in between.

A close up of what i ate that night. Very unhealthy appetizing indeed. I give the Toasted Tortilla a 3-1/2 out of 5 for it's presentation. One thing i don't really like about the Toasted Tortilla is it tasted too salty and i don't like salty food.















Besides the Toasted Tortilla, Ah Huat managed to get us all 3 buckets of chicken drumsticks, nuggets, potato wedges, and more drumsticks.















Our tables are filled with utensils, condiments, boxes of Roti Canai.... lol. Did you notice there's a bottle of mineral water in front of Huat? It's because he overpaid for our food that he himself ordered for a bottle of mineral water. How nice..















The KFC bucket is divided into 3 sections. The first section at the right contains around 7 pieces of drumsticks and breasts~ meat. The nuggets and wedges completes it all on the left hand side.















Alright, if you happen to partonised KFC, there's one thing which you should not miss out. KFC's own CHEESY WEDGES! I am a big fan of potatoes... ( the real potatoes, not extremely huge girls ).















HHmmmmm~~~ i can smell the cheese while typing this. It's a hit for those girls who loves oooey goooey stuffs~~~ ;P




















That's a pic of me and Chee Wee. I went home feeling satisfied but still a bit disappointed for not eating at Pizza Hut. Thanks Huat for the food though. :)

Something to take heed of..

The world is getting more and more dangerous. My mum had always warned me not to loiter around dark secluded places for the fear of being rape by girls rob by armed maskmen.

This morning, i came across a section of the newspaper which reported on 3 robbery cases which happened within a period of 2 hours and msot of them happened in parks as well. Unbelievable!

Now, i fear going out for a date with pretty girls. Who knows the girls might wacked me and robbed me off my clothes, my shoes, my Sony Dsc-t30.... . I don't mind getting robbed off my virginity though. Lol. *Ehem*

Anyways , i recommend any couples who wants to make love date inside their car nowadays, to be extra cautious . Do always lock your doors at all times.
