Nestle Kitkat Bites and Milo Nuggets Review

I spotted this two ( 2 ) little packets at Imperial Mall's Boulevard underground supermarket's shelves the other day while having a nights out with few of my kaki ( friends ). The Nestle Kitkat Bites retails for around RM1.90 and the other green packet named Milo Nuggets sells for RM1.89 . Hmm, not much difference at all.

It's been a while since i last had once of these kinda snacks. Anyway, both packets even had signs on where to tear open the packets. Not to mention kids, even adults nowadays seem to have trouble finding the zips. Heh.

Both of these little packagings comes in 40grams of goodness. So all in all i had about 80grams of titbits the other day.... , back to the Nestle products shall we, The Kitkat Bites is describe as " a crispy wafer in delicious milk chocolate ". whereas the Milo Nuggets has an official description printed on it which reads out as " Milo Nuggets with a combination of B vitamins and minerals " .

Look at the difference between each confectionaries. The Kitkat Bites are presented as small marble-liked chocolates and the Milo Nuggets comes in a boulder-liked shape. It really does remind me of the hard times while passing motion. LOL, just kidding. No seriously it does remind me of it.

The bites ( as a simple connotation ) tasted exactly as what most would expect of the usual Kitkat wafers we have in stores, the only difference to it is the size. Chocolates always taste good to me and as for the Nuggets , it really did amazed me with it's flavour. The chocolate coating is slightly darker and thicker than it's rival ( the bites ) .

I recommend any person who needs a break to go for the Kitkat Bites ( remember the tagline? ), and those who regard concentrated and thickly coated chocolate flavour as the best thing in life to go for the Milo Nuggets. Both items can be found at all stores near you.

Wall's Moo Smooth Cookie Sandwich

Wall's has just recently came up with the latest product in their famous and ever increasing line up of ice cream confections. The latest one here is known as the Wall's Moo Smooth Cookie Sandwich.

It goes for around RM0.80 per packet. MDFS ( My Daily Food Supplier ) got me 2 packets of it . It comes in a box of 10 which retails at all stores for a whooping price of RM 7.95 . Do the calculations.

The latest line up features a dress up cow dancing merrily supposingly along the usual Wall's Paddle pop song. Wall's are well known for coming out with delicious and drool-able ice creams. I am sure this will be a hit among the kids.

Wall's Moo Smooth Cookie Sandwich comes in a round cookie shaped way. The biscuit is has a thick chocolate hint to it with vanilla ice cream sandwiched between it. Hence the said confectionary name given.

Moo Smooth Cookie Sandwich is better off served chilled and its ideal to take during hot days. The biscuits are amazingly soft , not what i expected with most cookies. It tasted wonderful to be honest with you. It would be a blast if it had been chocolate flavoured all the way. It's going down in Adam's list of nice snacks but the price of it might cause the much capitally aka financially challenged a headache. Kinda not the thing which one might find addictive at or in other words, affordable.

Corn Flavoured Candies & Vancouver Keychain

I received a bag of candies from my friend Yvonne Voon as i had told her earlier that too much sweet is not good for the teeth. No, in all seriousness, i demanded some from her as she had been bragging about the ( if my memory does not fail me again.. ) taiwan or china made sweets her mum gave her?

The plastic bag reveals two ( 2 ) different types of candy and also a keychain. I didn't requested for the key chain and i am putting this down as a gift all the way from Vancouver, Canada.

This one is apparently a japanese candy or some sort, featuring a corn . I can't really read chinese words but i am guessing it says corn ( ? ). The only understandable words i could make out is CORN , MILK CANDY.

The other candy looks rather more detail, with a picture of a corn being dumped into a pile of milk. Creamy Corn .... hmmm

I was expecting it to taste bad but strangely enough, it was good. Especially the candy in the white packaging. The difference between the white packet candy and the golden packet would probably be it's properties. I'll just refer the white packet candy as MILK CANDY and the other as CREAMY CORN . Milk Candy has a chewy gum ( edible ) effect to it while the Creamy Corn is rather more solid but both tasted excellent.

I might drop down the stalls to buy myself some of this corn-flavoured sweets if there are on shelve. Thanks Yvonne for the colourful keychains * and also delivering it down. Haha.

Justea - Ice Tea + Lemon

Yeo's JUSTEA packet drink. Standing tall in every household.

It comes in a yellow packet with a brand new design. A list of description labelled on the side for consumers to check upon.

Point of insertion. Gone it's ( virginity ) foil after that. It's a refreshing drink this sort of ice lemon tea product.

Wanfa - My Fish Chip

My female colleagues had been torturing me with excess supplies of foods and snacks during office hours. This time its a packet of WANFA - My Fish Chips. WANFA being the company and My Fish Chips as the product name. It even has a picture of a drawn up fish with chat bubbles which says " My Fish Chips " in it. Ehuh.. i am not sure how much it retails but i am guessing it's at the range of RM0.10 to RM0.20 cents.

WANFA - My Fish Chips is describe as a product of fresh fish meat processed using the most advanced Japanese technologies and it is continued on with " A must have snack for your family and during the social gatherings " . Right... social gatherings, if only girls nowadays would be satisfied with a packet of fish chips.

Look at the nasty square-shaped crisps . It tasted salty and it's surprisingly ( I know i had been exhausting this word ) addictive. TRY IT!

Cocoaland Potato Sticks

Cocoaland potato sticks looks very much like a standard Pringle's can but it comes in sticks instead of the usual curved-looking potato crisps. The container are filled with kanji and hiragana characters as i am linguistically challenged. Ha Ha Ha..funny.

Pictures of potatoes and sticks grace Cocoaland's cylindrically shaped can.

Cocoaland Potato Sticks is manufactured in Selangor , Malaysia. Funny how a Malaysian company is using japanese characters to promote their goods. What had happened to Bahasa Malaysia? Anyway, this is just a useless trivia, something which most of you would not be aware of.

The container reveals sticks of potato chips protruding out once the foil is teared open. It's resealable as the crush-resistant cover is provided.

For once i felt like i am harry potter with this stick. The potato sticks tasted salty and it's filled with MSG, not my favourite snack but it's good once you consume more of it, the taste of bbq sauce does leave a memorable experience though.

Green Air review

Green Air
is located just at the corner of Boulevard Cafe aka Chung Kiew restaurant. One would be able to spot their yellowish paintjob on it's air-conditioned eating establishment. There's even a big tea cup on its signboard. I was there on Saturday afternoon with few friends of mine.

I am guessing it's probably the main branch of most Kokoberry outlets in town or in any shopping malls. FYI, Kokoberry offers a wide range of juice, and all sorts of fruits concotions of your choice. Hmm.. it's been a while since i last had one of Kokoberry's Black Forest. So, anyway this eating establishment also offers such drinks.

The front part spots the drink cum cashier counter where waiters ( yes, waiters ) would serve you with a big smile on their face. I ain't impressed though as my preference would be a waitress.

The interiors of Green Air looks cosy enough. It's quite small but in my opinion, its good enough to fill in a good 30 persons in it. LOL. You could sit on the floor if you want to.

Green Air even has an enclosure at the back that presents a japanese eating style deco. I've counted out around 6 tables consisting of glass and wooden types for patrons to dine on. The ambience is pleasant to say the least. I like the idea of having a semi-closed space with jap-styled paper boards on both side. It feels rather secure , obviously from the eyes of the public.

Pictures of chinese caligraphy hung against the wall depicting the more oriental side of Green Air.

Entertainment are available at arm's length. Surprisingly , Green Air does not have chinese chess available for patrons. Hmm...

Even the walls are adorned with pictures and love notes of diners who previously dined here. supposedly of those ah bengs & ah lians. I just wonder why someone would write love notes and post it for everyone to laugh at.

Oh by the way, i got myself a plate of Minced Beef in mushroom for RM5.50. I didn't paid for the food as i told my friends about my project MMISCB. Nothing much to write about though.

Ben got a plate of Pork Chop rice which retailed for much the same price as mine.

I went straight for the boards on the wall right after i finished my dish. The boards were filled with the said notes. The note above was showing a fat cat with the notes " Even if you look as fat as i am ( the cat ) , I will still love you so.. " . Aw.... how sweet but then it doesn't really work that way in reality. :P

Another of those usual C grade confession notes. I guess the grammatically right word should be " Mr Lai, I'm your admirer " . Anyway, i am gonna placed my bucks on a Peimin student for this.

My sherlock-holmes instinct tells me this note was written by a couple with each agreeing to write the same words. Notice the different handwritings. They certainly do have much times to spare... get a life.

Green Air scores more for their accomodation. Foodwise, i'll give them a 7.5 . Nevertheless, there's always room for improvement, i might go again after a couple of months for the next evaluation.

I forgot something, there's another note which really did caught my eye. Hmm.... the works of a corrupted young mind.

Adam's 7 Steps to have HER leave you

I know i had not been doing this sort of article since form 5 , i might as well dig up my ol' school skills now and spread the love to everyone who intends to live a single life without the chains of another every minute of your life.

1. Be a jerk:

As amusing as it may sound, this works. Start by finding ways to which might irritate your partner. A few good long hours of constant nagging and complaint every single day after work on your partner is a stepping stone towards your goal. Nag at everything she does which you are not satisfied at, especially her cooking. A round of abusive language will certainly increase the hate factor. Be a pain in the ass everyday and i guarantee you an amount of success.

2. Be depressing:

Girls do not like their men to be all cool and lifeless. Keep up with the complains and talk about office problems, money problems, house problems , anything which has to do with worries more. You are probably around 26, do try your best to look stress out and show no signs of happiness as you converse with her. Do also stress more on your sex life, complain about it more. It's the end of any humours with her. If your partner still insist, try the next step.

3. Be non committal:

Being fully commited towards one another is something very essential in maintaning a good stable relationship. By being otherwise, you have to start exercising your care-less attitude. Fully maximise your repertoire by deliberately showing signs of breaking promises , breaking agreements and so forth. Cancelling plans with her constantly will have her irritated for sure.

4. Be Inconsiderate:

Start off by lacking any thoughfulness towards her. Forget her birthday , anniversary and any other important dates which you both might had made in the past. Purposely hang up the phone before she's finish talking, demand to fetch her back home while she's still doing her shopping. OOOooo...girls do love shopping alot don't they? Failure to fetch her from her parents house after promising her you would will be a good idea. Constantly talk about her insecurities in front of people whom you know.... or even better ppl whom you don't.

5. Marriage? NO!

Regularly remind her that you are not into marriage and all those lovey dovey white gown " i do " stuff. Tell her that you are those who can't just settle down. I am sure it will be the end of the road soon for both of you.

6. Disagree on everything, i mean everything:

She ask for LV bags, you give her plastic bags. She ask for cash, you give her trash. I don't think a normal human being could even tolerate such abuse after a while. You are nearing the end of the relationship and the beginning of a new life. Not sure of it yet? Resort to the last option...

7. Hit on your gf's best friend:

Every girl's nightmare. It hurts her dignity, her self confidence, everything, you name it. It's the worst out of the 6 options which i had earlier provided. Try hitting on her best friend or even her colleagues and purposely brag about how pretty they are compared to your gf. If your gf still wants you, by then you had to be ashame of yourselve.

I do not intend to provide you with this info as it might lead to an increase in break ups, but i foresee a good future for all of you, one which some of you are looking for. Hence my 7 golden steps. Nite. I am tired....

Randomly yours...

Today's random-o-post talks about " Meeting her..... "

Today i will share a little about my friend's past experience with a girl back in secondary school. Let's refer my friend as Ryan and the girl as Sherly.

*Sherly is famous amongst the students in the school. She was highly appreciated by guys and girls all over, back then she was the Selina S.H.E from Miri. Everybody knew and wanted to know her. Ryan was an exception ( hints ) . Football comes first in his life , followed by girls. That was his golden rule, and i guess somehow, it was probably another reason for her to leave him at the very end.

Ryan knew who she was as she was the talk of the school in year 1998 - 2000. Every lunchtime, she would walk all the way from the gates down the long path to her class at the very end of the school. As she walks, guys would stop in their tracks , jaws wide, agape and awestruck at her beauty and the fullness of her figure. He found it strange that those qualities never actually interest him... weird it was.

But it does not mean that his standards are low. Ryan just didnt thought of her as the ONE for him. Anyway, i remember clearly one evening as Ryan was doing his last round of sprinting down the field under the watchful eye of his football coach which was followed by a stunning left-foot volley which send the ball crashing into the net that as he was running down the other lane of the field in ecstasy to celebrate the goal, a faint voice of a girl distracted him...

" Ryan..... " she called out his name ,standing there beside the goal post, with her luxuriant shiny mane of dark coffee black on her shoulders, mesmerizing crystal-liked eyes that fixated onto his.

He stood there for a moment, time stood still. A touch of serendipity one might call, they were strangers before, but not until then.

" Yes.. " Ryan replied unconscious of the busy crowds walking pass them , looking at him ( not her ), much like a korean drama, the only difference being mandarin the language.

" Are....you Ryan? " she asked again trying to be sure as there was another attractive looking guy wiping sweat of his forehead ( head ) , that guy was me and she couldn't be sure.

Ryan finally replied, " Yes Shirly, i guess i am, and you are? " trying to be ever adorable among the girls.

Shirly smiled a lovely demure smile, a smile that spoke of promise and a smile to die for.

Sensing that he was the guy and he should start any conversation should they be one, ryan continued, " i've heard much about you, what brought you here? "

Shirly in all her adorableness grinned, " I am here because it was of fate .... "

" ... and because of that, we met. " Ryan finished off her sentences much to her surprise and amazement.

Somehow, sometimes when you met a person, you just click. It's like a chemistry, love at first sight some might say and your life is never the same again.

..... much like mine. ;)

I probably had too much of Jack Daniels right after supper... i've been writing stuff which does not seem to have any sense whatsoever. Heck, i might post another random post tommorow. Let's see ... hmm " Top Ten Break Up Reasons " coming up next post.

Ah Wei Cha Kueh @ Chung Kiew Cafe

This is Boulevard Cafe which by common sense ,is located in Boulevard Commercial Centre. I usually refer this eating establishment as Chung Kiew cafe but somehow, while i was there few days ago, i did noticed the uncharacteristic signboard.

I went there with my mates as they were thirsty. I wanted to try out the famous " Ting Piang Hu " dish but was somewhat disappointed as the stall were not operating during tuesday night. For those which are so inclined , " Ting Piang Hu " is a foochow meal, somekind of soup base food with thin white layers of milky flour extracts all jumble up together. I really need someone to help me describe this.

Since the noodle stall wasn't operating, i opted for the hawker-liked stall outside of it's premises. It's called the " Ah Wei Cha Kueh " stall. It's manned by 2 ladies around the mid - 40 range. Yes, they are married. I have heard nothing, but good reviews about this tiny stall. They produce good cha kueh's.

Hmmm... ( i am sure you're bored of looking at them, better take more pics of other friends.. ). Ben didn't ordered anything as he was on diet. Such a wussy.

Yvonne Voon. Back from Canada not long ago. Say hello to her... Oh ya she paid for our drinks too.

Ah Wei Cha Kueh stalls flagship dish.... the cha kueh. I ordered a plate for 4 but then Yvonne didnt ate it as she was recovering from a fall. Allergy to eggs as an excuse. Bleh..

RM6.00 . Its sweet. I have tasted much better cha kueh's than this but it's still good. The additional bean sprouts added on the cha kueh are base on my request.
