Roger Yong's Fashion Show...i was there.

I ain't big fan of model shows, i do not follow the newest trend and certainly i don't worship cheapo brands except for Dolce & Gabanna and Jean Paul Gaultier.

My friend insisted on going to Roger Yong's fashion show few days ago. I've heard stuff about Roger Yong's modelling agency and also their models. There was once a model from Roger Yong who invited me to go for modelling, but i passed. It's not my cup of tea.

So, the most recent Roger Yong's fashion show was held in Imperial Mall. I arrived there late as usual.

After my friend parked his car ( at a proper parking lot , of cause ), i noticed few Kap-cais ( traffics ) who were issuing summons on a Kancil vehicle. The driver was nowhere to be found. I assume the driver must be one of those gay guy models from Roger Yong.

It wasn't hard to find it's whereabouts. A stage was set up and banners were hung on the board which clearly emblazoned the characters RY. I didn't realized it's the inital of Roger Yong. I thought it meant Rough Youths or maybe Really Yeng ( steady in canton ).

The fashion show's theme concerns more on Spring and Summer collections. That's what i thought of at first, but Miri don't have four seasons leh.. what next? RY's Winter Collection?

Lucky me, i didnt miss whole of the show as 2 girls walked up the stage oozing with confidence ( cos they know they are Roger Yong's part time model , and the spectators aren't ) , one fully clothed with green attire , scarf this and that and another who opted for a red riding hood-girl kinda look. I thought it was ok.

Don't say i don't share pictures of our local models lar... don't say i kiam. Green is the new colour for summer or spring? Someone please enlighten me.

To the female readers , don't say i kiam too. These 2 guys were what Roger Yong had to offer that night. It was disappointing. I wasn't, Patrick felt dissapointed though. LOL. That guy with the sweater looks like an addicted Maple Story gamer..

Here's the previous model dressed in light pink + white clothing. By the looks of it, RM 45 would probably be more than enough. No, i meant the shirt, not the person.

Things were going slightly not as energetic as some might had expected. I thought the show was boring to be honest. The girls were dragging themselves along the walkway like they were forced too. My friend greeted the model, but what did he got? A cockstern face staring back at him. Potong steam...

I didn't really concentrate on the show, i was looking sideways and wherever it was to entertain myself til.....

A mermaid appeared out of South China Sea gyrating to Darren's rave music... it was funny alright. The mermaid has tattoos down her back too. Salute..

Whenever there are mermaids around, Buayas are around too. Look at this guys... . *shakes head*

The 1st day of the show ended with more models dressed up in....summer and spring wear. LOL. It looks japanese all the way to me. Anyway that guy must have had his egos grown 2" bigger to have stand alongside Maggie. Noticed that expression of his.

At the end of the show, i met these 4 code reds. Now i get it, Ah Loke ( top left ) was there as he was part of the organising committee or some sort, Darren ( below right ) was there as an emcee and also for the ravers tunes, Eric Yong ( top right ) dressed in all james bond attire surprisingly did not for the 1st time, shuffle around the PA System.

Just a comparison..

I saw this pic of my friend Kenneth Tiong when browsing through his site. He thought he was cool with the shades.

It reminded me of what i did few weeks back. I think i made the shades cool.

Some....girls are FIERCE

WARNING: THE FOOTAGE BELOW MAY CONTAIN VIOLENT/HORRFYING SCENES and ABUSIVE LANGUAGE. VIEWER DESCRETION IS ADVISED.

I was on the net surfing through sexy blonde bombshells decent korean looking actresses and was interupted by one of my mates ( Lee Chee Wee ) to check out on something which happened few days ago.

It was a video footage of few girls from a respectable school here trying hard to impress the guys with their own REAL version of WWE entertainment.

Girl fight ( without mud... but plenty of foul languages.)

I am traumatized, the lingering thoughts of meeting a new girl from that particular school really makes me shudder.

The " I Look So Cute ( But dun u F**K with me or else you also will get b*tch slap look . ) " .

I also feel that the guys were buncha girls in diguise, not only were they lot of over-enthusiastic techno music freaks ( a euphemism for AH BENGS ) , they have no balls at all. Real gentlemen should stand up and protect the weaker ones. I didn't like the new flip-up collar trend look either.

If i knew who those girls and guys were, i am gonna hire few transversites around town to a$$-bang em and make a movie out of it.

My Simple Lunch

I went down to Pelita Commercial Centre today. I stopped at Hot Cross Bun to pick up whatever i could eat for lunch. I was that desperate to have something that i bought a pack of sandwich.

FYI, Hot Cross Bun looks like this. I didnt bother taking more pics of it's interior as the staffs might think that i'm a rival from another bakery shop. Duh..

I also did stopped by Servay Hypermarket for a packet of orange juice. It was just around Hot Cross Bun but still i drove there.

This is the pack of sandwich i bought for RM3.00 earlier at Hot Cross Buns. I like the packaging, it looks so neat...

...and this is what i got from Servay Hypermarket. A Marigold Peel Fresh Orange Juice.
It cost me RM1.90.

Today's expenditure: RM 4.90 + RM 5.00 ( Petrol Fees ) = RM 9.90.

Marigold Peel Fresh Orange Juice comes in a 250ML packet. It's rich in vitamin c so i thought why not have a try on it. I wasn't surprised at it's taste. I have always knew anything that comes out from Marigold is worth drinking. ( cause my uncle has shares in Marigold ... )

Now, something about this packet of orange juice took me by surprise. The first innovative thing Marigold had done was to introduced a brand new way of "opening" it's packet drinks.

Adam: " Wahliew... need brainstorming leh this.. how to open this thing ah? "
My personal accountant: " Neh Neh Neh...got the handle, just pull ma, like you open car lidat.."
Adam: " Oh...thanks alot. :) "

That's how i did it. Thanks to my personal accountant. Freaking Marigold did not provide proper instructions....crap. I nearly tossed that whole packet down the bin leh.

..enough with the orange juice, this is the sandwich i took. It contains cheese, veges, tomato slices ( one of my favourite ) , eggs and of cause.. bread.

The cheese and mayos are spreaded evenly sandwiching the eggs and tomatoes. I thought few slices of cucumber might even taste that better but for RM 3.00 , what more can you ask for?

A bite up sandwich.... I am a really hygenic person, that's why the tissue was used.

I had a pleasant lunch considering it to be rather simple than what i had most of the time but nothing else beats a healthy lunch.

Roti John Mayoeed @ Alai's Burger , Perwira

This stand-alone burger stall alongside Perwira used to be my favourite stall to fill up my stomach. It's manned by 2 Malay owners and it's a common site in Malaysia. I went there not long ago just because i suddenly craved for some buns... ;P

Alai's Burger... has a very attractive phrase or characters on it's signage. I couldn't quite make out what it meant, maybe it's some motto which says " Eat my buns, we have "secret recipes" " . I browsed through the menu , and i got myself a Roti John.

I didn't took the usual Roti John and i personally asked the boss to have my Roti John *Zhhnged. Excuse my poor usage of words. Instead of the usual chili and tomato sauce toppings , i opted for just Mayo all the way. I should have called it Roti Dam if i happen to own a burger stall. I took it back home for Rm3.00.

This customized Roti John measures around 9" . It's wrapped around with a layer of plastic to ensure the bun is warm enough for consumption. It is cut into 4 parts to make it easy for those who do-not-know how to use a knife. Alai's burger comes with 2 pieces of tissue F.O.C.

Roti John's tend to look a lil bit messy, but that's the good part about it. I know most girls like it messy too... oops. To be honest, it's just about the taste, not the presentation. The amount of mayo spreaded on the grilled up mixture of onions, eggs, and also chicken/tuna meat makes it all that soggy and easier to take in.

All soggy.... don't you just love those tiny weeny buns?

I hope ya all drop by sometime and try out this marvellous and unhealthy delicious buns, saturated with fat Malaysian goodness and all that.

Yvonne's Birthday @ Pizza Hut , Parkson

I was at Pizza Hut, Parkson on the 23rd of June. Most of you would not see me dining there unless theres something going on.

It was Yvonne Chin's birthday get-together and i was invited. It started at 7.00pm and as usual, i arrived 20 minutes late. It's normal for me, sometimes i arrived an hours late and my friends didnt even say anything.

Ben was invited as well. He came without his partner-in-crime Ah Fang. He felt lonely ...and hungry. ( No Pun Intended ) :P

Patrick Wu humour himself with an expression worth getting smack by the cha-bos at the back. He loves his pic taken with girls as the background.

Here's a pervertive shot by Patrick Wu of 3 innocent females. He told us that he was just too shy to ask for a pic with em.

Let me introduce to you the few peeps who also joined in her so called..party. I bet most of them were in for the free pizzas and stuff. I know i was.
Anyways, on my left was Sharon Hu, currently studying at Curtin University, Sarawak Campus. The person with that sly grin is Ukui. That's how they called him, no questions ask.

I was bored sitting there doing nothing... and oh ya...here's one of my obligatory camshot. ;)

I noticed few niggas peeps who worship Pizza Hut that willingly stood in front of the entrance for at least an hour just waiting for us / whoever it is to get done with our food. Siaw.. Pizza addicted freaks.

O... by the way, i was *forced to choosed which pizza to have. I didn't have much trouble choosing a load of it, but i guess..... Yvonne did found it hard paying the whole lot of it.

The first thing we were served were 2 plates of Breadstix each consisting of 8 pieces of...bread. Lol. It's more like a routine thing which Pizza Hut always does. First...the breadstix....next the soup of the day and i'm getting bored with it.

I took a nib at it and i really did like it. I always had this "thing" with garlic breads. The breadstix were baked in a moderate heat which gave it an attracting golden brown appearance. Not only does it look nice, it tasted nice as well. The cheese toppings were added to enhance the flavour. Nice..

Talking about Soup earlier on, this is a shot of " The Soup Of The Day" . I believed many of you are able to identify this soup. It's the..... Mushroom soup. Nothing to write home about on this, the only thing was that i found it quite...coincidental that whenever i patronised Pizza Hut, Miri Branch, The Mushroom Soup is always the Soup Of The Day. I don't know whether it's just me being over attentive or them being plain lazy to change their menu.

They had Vege Supreme as the first dish. I didnt had the chance to have a bite at it as the girls were on diet and i left it to them. It looked appetizing enough.

I had Hawaiian Supreme. It contains a huge chunk of chicken meat, pineapples, chicken meatloaf and also ooey gooeey cheese.

A close up of the Haiwaiian Supreme.

The 2nd dish was the Pepperoni Pizza. It's most suitable for all meat lovers. I like the combination of pineapple and pepperoni with chicken. It compliments each other really well. While we were busy biting , munching and swallowing down our food, another 2 girls arrived.

June Sii ( Left ) and Rachel Yong ( Middle ) were actually an hour late. June Sii was still distracted by something when she arrived. They didnt ate much as most of the good stuff were all well cleaned up by Adrian.

That's Yvonne waving around with her CASH cause she has the rights to do it.

...and that's me waving around with tissues cause i had the rights to do it too.

and a few of the pics that nite:

Ben trying to act all kawaii...

Yvonne helping out his boyfriend, Adrian with some cheeky moves.

This is a self portrait of 2 peeps who are in love with themselves. I am sorry, i wasn't behind the camera. Some crap photographer took this and that was the result.

This is Ukui torturing the peace sign. I had wanted a clearer view of Pizza Hut, but this guy popped out from nowhere.

After we left, guess who i saw. Michael Voon Nang Onn was in town and we had not been in touch for quite some time. The last time we talked was 4 years ago back in Mid school. He's currently studying in Singapore.

So, we all went back home after that and all the while we were eating Ben was telling Adrian this:

" What's so confusing? Just put it in.... " I think he was trying to ask Adrian to .. *Cough* with Yvonne.
